It's back to work again.. Thank goodness i reached office on time today. woke up late again.. didn't have a very good sleep last night. my eyes are hurting now. anw, i'm foreseeing a huge mountain of work this week, as proven from all the leave forms handed in to me today...

Valentine's Day this year was movie out with theo, kon, victor and jingyan. we watched 'new in town'. it was quite funny i would say. but ratings for it is just average.. i so wanna watch 'look for a star', 'marley&me', 'the curious case of benjamin button'& 'he's not that into you'! don't know what's wrong with me! i think i'm trying to make amends for not watching movies for the past few years! i've been watching 1 movie a week on average since 'the wedding game'. ohya! thanks to victor, i enjoyed delicious xiao long bao at din tai fung! first time trying them but yeah.. i do prefer the ones at crystal jade still (: wells, how was your valentine's day like?

Somehow i'm feeling estranged from them... Maybe we're weren't ever close or had such a deep relationship with each other that some things i could know. wells, maybe i'm quite a relationship-oriented person, so i did felt a little sad. But i'm alright now! (:

Though i ain't have a date for valentine's day, but i'm contented trying to help boyfriends get presents/flowers for their girlfriends, wifes making a gift for husbands so that valentine's day will become a more than valentine's valentine's day for them! (:

Prayer meetings at 6.30am has been causing me to wake up real early. when i say real early, its like beyond expected (from me) already. In order to be on time, i need to wake up 5am. For me, it's really really challenging la! I hate waking up in the morning. but for it, im gonna wake up and leave the house! (: It's been good! the presence of God was so strong as you walk in. physically im seriously tired but spiritually, im more charged up! (:

Valentine's day is coming real soon.. Pastor preached about the difference between the needs of man and woman. He only gave the 1st need last week but i'm already agreeing with him. Though im not attached yet, but i do feel that women needs affection.To me, sometimes i do need attention as well. Just simple asking of how are you, appreciating of things i've done or simple cards would make me feel that i've got existence in your life. haha. too bad this year i've got no valentine.. but then, its okay lah! i've got high standards probably..(bet caroline must be shaking "no" to what i just said.LOL)

today's my second day of work. (:

i just realised that working is really tiring.

it takes a lot of determination to wake up & set off for work.

at least for me, i go for breakfast with my mum&auntie judy

so im kind of forced to get up earlier than others.

now, i understand the feelings of being a teacher.

who wakes up in the wee hours of the morning to make it on time for assembly at 7.35am!

my body clock ain't adjusted yet..

yesterday, after i reached home,

had my dinner,

and i slept till 11.30pm

watched 1.5hrs of TV and went back to sleep.

still couldnt wake up today!
HAHA!

hopefully, by the end of the week,

my body will tune in to the 'wake up early' timing.

Wee wee..
had a hectic past two days.
tuesday went to ton at airport to wait for Sun! (:
her flight was at 5.26am if remembered correctly.
we(bennie,kon,jing,keewei,keith,jingyan,kendrick,maxcelin&myself)
spent our time chatting,reading book,playing cards, games etc.
by the time i reached home, it was already 7.15am.
talked to mummy before she went to work.
slept for 4 hours and went for pm.
after that, we (frazer,kendrick,jeremy,weixian,claudia,maxcelin,theodora,kon,joshua&myself)
went to east coast park to cycle! (:
wanted to blade lah!
but was too ex (its just THAT shop!)
so took the bicycle($6 for 3hours, quite a deal)
camwhored quite a lot (in theo's and kon's camera)
we set our footprints and kon's handprints on the sand of east coast park! (:
cant wait to get the pictures on hand! LOL

BUT i slept 12 hours in total today! (:
not my ultimate yet.
had our E453 mini outing at Orchard!
there were meishi,kendrick,daniel,jeremy & myself
we had our dinner before heading towards the orchard roads to take pictures.

HONGKONG TRIP (Part3)

-DAY FOUR-

Check out day from ShenZhen's Hotel.

This is the bus that I take every morning to LuoWu Station to take a train into Hongkong. I passed the customs 6 times in total! hahas.

We decided to take the First Class compartment as we were lugging four huge luggages on the train to Tsim Sha Tsui East It has more comfy seats (:

Yes I know, why a picture of this? Hahas.

Because I often see such police cars in their dramas and as we were walking towards our hotel, i saw one parking there so yeah, took a picture of it (:

The hotel we stayed in for the night.

It was kind of a small room for a high price. It's 2 double beds in a room.

After teabreak, we went to Mongkok to shop for awhile. It's like another bugis street I would say but what makes it unique is the signboards! Don't know why, but I loved looking at the signboards (:

Went back to Tsim Sha Tsui to watch the symphony of lights.

Nothing much about it but it was the night view of the buildings that was real nice yeah (: We met Singapore's Star Cruise as the show was going on. Had very nice dessert at one of the restaurants along the street before going back the hotel for masks time! hah!

-DAY FIVE-

a short day meant to be used for last minute shopping

The roads in Hongkong are very steep. Im just a few metres away from them but im looking at them at an angle of about 35degree. We shopped at H&M where i bought a new wallet and 2 lipglosses (:

HONGKONG TRIP (Part2)

-DAY 3-

We spent the morning in ShenZhen's LuoWu City and then Disneyland!

The pictures are all taken in HONGKONG DISNEYLAND (:

The MTR to Disneyland was so COOL!!!

The whole train was full of mickeys!

The windows, the handles & the displays!

The best was the comfy sofa seats they've got.

First time I see such trains, was really fascinated! (:

The first thing we did was to eat ice-cream!

I had a mickey ice-cream stick with an egg tart.

The birds there are really friendly! Visitors would throw their crumbs on the floor and these birds just flocked down and pecked on the food. I myself also threw whatever I could to attract them to us! (:

I was alone as the 3 ladies went to watch a show in Adventureland. My aim was to take picture with Pooh so I headed for Fantasyland. But I passed by Tommorowland and took picture under the rocket! (:

The merry-go-round! Would loved to take a ride on it but the queue turns me off.

Went to POOH CORNER to grab some souvenirs. I liked the pooh hairband but i think it would be a little waste of money to buy it since i would only wear it when im there, so i gave up thoughts of buying it.

As I came out, i saw this wizard conducting a magic show. Though i did not understand the cantonese he's saying but i felt that it was quite funny & interesting.

5.45pm- Start of the Disney "Let It Snow" Christmas parade!

The floats were nice and there was snow as the parade took place! Main Street was lighted up and it was a joyous feeling being there! (:

At the entrance, we were given each a hologram viewer that said we should use them to see the streetlights at night, lighting of the castle and fireworks. Can you see? There are snowmen on the buildings! It's so amazing la! For the fireworks right, though the concept was simple, but it was really cool when you see many coloured snowmans jumping in the air.

The castle lights were very magnificant and there was a dance by some of the disney characters including the princesses. Couldnt really see it because of the daddies in front of me cause they carried their kids on their shoulders. Didnt managed to get nice pictures of the fireworks cause I was busy watching the 'snowmen in the air' show (:

special mention! hahas. this somewhat ordinary candy floss caused me SGD$8 because of the coloured stick! hahas. but wells, i liked it! (:

HONGKONG TRIP (Part1)

Wee.. just ended a 4+hour call with kendrick!
FINALLY.. im gonna upload the hongkong pictures! 100 pictures in total! (:

-DAY ONE-

We started off at Changi Airport Terminal 3 on SQ866 to our flight to HongKong. There were four of us, Mummy, auntie adelyn, auntie judy & myself! (:

We took a limousine into ShenZhen as our hotel is there.
The cute thing about the taxis in shenzhen is that the front seats have a cover stating the day (:

Metropark Hotel (ShenZhen) was where i stayed in. I will recommend this hotel to stay in! Affordable and worth the experience! Did the in-house full body massage there. quite painful. LoL. my first time doing it overseas..

We went out on the streets for dinner and started on my shopping spree! (: Okay, the picture (the four of us) was taken by an inexperienced photographer.

(: How I wished I could bring it back to Singapore! (: After that, we went to Lan Kwai Fong to have dinner at a restaurant famous for its roasted geese, chicken and chinese sausages.

PHOTOS (Mooncake Festival)

Had a long day playing candles and hanging with friends on the mid-autumn festival weekend =D 3 rounds altog! hahas.

Round #1: After cg, we went to the bball court near kon's house to play bball and captain's ball. Played with some candles, sparklers and the guys(nf) were trying to make big fires but we had our fireman(victor) who was busy trying to put out the fires that they started. hahas.

Round#2: After playing bball and stuff, we went to block 85 to have dinner in celebration for kendrick's going in army. his "mian zi" very big ahs.. we joined around 5 tables to sit all of us. can imagine how many were there mann.. after dinner, we went to the nearby blocks to play sparklers. =D (pictures still with jasmine)

the renovations of the mac is great.

-it was just tough!
-but thank God there was Caroline who explain to me concepts on Jc1 topics!
better study HARDER for Monday's paper. Stats! come alive in me!
4. Physics (halfhalf)
-paper 1 was horrendous, i guessed ALL my MCQs
as in there was no question that i could confidently answer...
-but after praying, paper 2 was good! hahas.
i felt that i was quite easy compared to paper 1..
hope that i can pass physics for midyears!
no! its pass my midyears! =D

and oh, i won free tickets to Shaolin Girl from Radio100.3.
gonna watch it soon! after myes? heh.
but there's another show that i wanna watch!

it has been almost a month since i've blogged.
nearly a one month's anniversary to rotting.

went ice-skating with ken and qianjun yesterday at leisure park.
haha. we had great fun!
2 hours passed real fast.
so.. we have decided that...
kendrick's gonna hold his birthday party at the ice skating ring this coming july!
i really want to go back there again! =D

there's some problem with computer and i can't blog at home=X
sporttie is sick=X
there was some uterus infection and it was swollen.
mummy, auntie judy and melvin brought her to the vet cause i was having tuition.
then they when they came home,
mummy told me that she was on drip and was gonna have operation today morning.
i was shocked man!
i didn't know that it was so serious.
sporttie's spirits was so low the past few days
and cause she hasn't been eating,
her face has slimmed down so much! =X
was quite worried so i smsed some people to pray for her.
but i know He will be with sporttie.. =D
was relieved when mummy msged me to inform me that sporttie was doing fine and is sleeping! =D
i'm gonna wait for mummy to pick me up and go and pick my dearest sporttie from the hospital?
i miss sporttie!

Phew,
It’s the weekend once again.
I’m really appreciative of the weekends man.
Cause that’s when I get enough sleep.
I really wanna thank someone in my life,
And that is mummy.
Because of her, I’m never once late for school.
I was just so tired that I couldn’t pick myself up from the bed this morning
And I woke up at 6.50am.
Practically half an hour before school starts!
And we had to send Melvin to school before myself.
Thanks for making the effort to send me to school before you go for work. =D

Brought my dearest sporttie to the vet on Tuesday
She’s got some kind of skin problem, moist eczema I think?
Carried her on my lap with a towel all the way down,
To James Tan Veterinary in the west
She’s heavy man.
And my skirt was stained because of her. =X
Sporttie is such a shy girl.
There was this dog called ‘xiaohei’ that was super friendly
And she was just sniffing my dear and sporttie shivered!
Hahas.
Guess whom did I met,

Seriously I was shocked cause it’s been a real long time since I’ve met him
And not expecting to meet him at a clinic. Hahas
He still looks the same.
Like how he was in primary school
And past memories whelmed me

then, we walked to the basketball court
we saw mr hon playing bball with other teachers and students.
So we stopped and sat down at the benches,
The stop there had made me laugh more than what i had for the whole day man.
He was so funny!
He used different methods to distract his opponents
And the sight of him snatching the ball was so funny!
People around watching cheered him on as he played,
Haha, he played until he was squatting on the floor.
LOL.
Really laughed like anything know! Hahas.

Actually, colosseum is quite fun though.
Seeing the cheerleaders reminds me of Parade of Schools.
During this time last year,
We were practicing twice/thrice a week at toa payoh stadium
And the road to emerge conference was really tough
But we all made it

past few days has been tiring
had movie marathon on thursday night;
organizing it is not fun at all.
you don't get to sleep and
don't get to watch the movies. =X
stayed back at study benches to wait for pw results.
yani,desmond,charles and i played cards and,
surprisingly, charles don't know how to play daidee!!
LOL.
the gurls rock man!
we kept winning the guys. =D
finally, someone shouted "PW results are out!"
then my heart started to pound so quickly man.
we played finish the round and then went to look at our results.
well, i got a B
i'm not sad, just disappointed.
cause the whole level did real well.
like 70+% getting As.
and im not in that percentage group.
but well, i know i cant do anything to it anymore.
i wanna be like America,
getting U,S and then A in Alevels!
LOL to that.
waited for yunling to end her chem consultation while i prac guitar.
seriously,
it has been a real long time since i touched it
and i really pray for the Holy Spirit to guide me,

it has been a hectic and tiring week for me.

it's always like that

either i have nothing on, or else everything clashes.
my mind is pre-occupied all the time

had bs at riverwalk on wed.

it was GREAT!

i learnt about something new about the holy spirit

as of this day,

when i pray,

im going to ask the Holy spirit straight.

instead of going one cycle! hahas.

really glad that i went despite my tiredness =D

also, met a new mj friend in that class.

Back from island creamery and a car spin =D

the ambience is really most appropriate for youths.

customers would take pictures of themselves

and there's a printing machine for them to print it out.

and then, their pictures would be pasted on the walls of the shop.

they sell ice-cream that are free from

preservatives, eggs, gelatin or artificial colouring and flavouring!

which makes it healthy ice-cream! =D

but i just bought 1/2 year's supply to try out.

if my eye still cannot adjust to it,

then i shall live with spectacles all the rest of my life =X

It has been a memorable sunday for Janelle (30/03/2008)
So happy for her =D
but oh, i've got a tan because of the exposure to the sun for that few hours! :(
i just realised it today when i bathed.
i should have applied sun block ytd man!
especially when i know that i get tanned real easily.
but well, i guessed the most important thing is that i managed to witness her baptism! =D

Today;31March I managed to complete the book "the alchemist" by Paulo Coelho for book review! It's nice seriously. It talks about a shepherd chasing his dream and his journey to the Pyramids. Shall upload my book review when i'm done with it! =D Gonna do my book review now. Seeyou! =D

Reflections

Gotten back Maths, Chemistry & Physics papers this week.
Quite disappointed and upset with them.
cause all i expected was slight improvement from promos.
but i got over it.
Just like the quote 'be true to yourself';
i have to be truthful to myself.
although i studied really hard for my block test,
but it was too late
i shouldnt have neglected my studies last year,
causing myself to have a weak foundation.
i made reflections of these papers.
and all i can do is to take a next step to plan for MYE
MYE is gonna consist of year1 and year2 topics.
my revision calendar is in progress.
did the background myself =D
want my revision to be as colourful and 'heartful' as it is.
i must remain a positive attitude towards my studies.
i made a decision not to quit school already.
its too late to regret my decision.
was reminded of how much i cried when i had to make this decision;
it was Him who told me that he would bring me through this.
im gonna keep to His promise just like what weilin preached today
"shift your focus to His promises and away from your problems"

Weilin's gonna be water baptized tomorrow!!!!!
So excited for her!
don't worry, i will bring the candles for you lahh!! =D
trust me.
hehe.
remembered the time when i was water baptized 5 years ago.
it was during the SARs period,
thank God that our baptism was not cancelled.
but all of us had to take body temperature before get baptized
baptized with clair.
and.. when we took our temperature,
think cause the weather was too hot,
clair's temp was above average!
so she wasnt allowed to be baptized.
so we stood there, trying to cool her down
and as we see the line coming to an almost end,
we started to panick.
but God is good lah.
her temperature finally went down!
and we got water baptized on that fateful day. =D
it's my second birthday 22/06/03
thinking of it, it was quite interesting lahs.
may tomorrow be a day that signifies greatly to weilin too! =D

took cab this morning again.
but, the cabfare was so expensive!
cause i boarded the cab after 7am and the uncle drove so slowly!
the cabfare was $10.25.
i gave him $20 AND he returned $7.70 back!
which means that my cabfare was $12.30!
felt so upset over it but got over it lahs.
thank God my mum's car is done with its repairs
won't have to take cab tmr! =D

went to the gym with caroline after CCA today
ran 45 mins on the treadmill; 15 mins on arctrainer;
and did muscle building exercises
now, my whole body feels heated!
wells, its good lah. =D
it means that im still burning fats!
fats, off you go! =D
i'm quite determined this time...
gym wed and fri with caroline,
PE mon and thurs!
means that i exercise 4 times a week!
Ahha! Dream weight here I come! =D

I had a great weekend at expo during easter.
the drama i-ming was fantastic!
especially the sunday's one.
when Jesus was carrying the cross and kena slashed by the Roman soldiers,
i was reminded of Chee Keong.
i remembered the time when we watched "passion of the christ" at Jasmine's
it was years back le..
and really missed him not being in church.

Met someone in church on friday!
I was seriously seriously shocked!
Cause.. it was the first time i experienced de javu!
i dreamt before that one day i would see him in church
then on friday, i had a even stronger feeling that i will see him
and ahha! that day, he said hi to me!
seriously SHOCKED!
but i was happy though. =D

went to watch rule no #1 with shai,atiqah,shenny,audrey,eunice&kendrick yesterday.

it was disgusting!

with all the blood and gore..

but there was particular scene that was quite funny i guess.
this girl got possessed and she led a group of girls in a group suicide.
they had 2 pony tails each;

of which they tied together,

they held their hands together,

standing at the corner of the rooftop of their school,

and when that possessed girl fell, all fell together and died.

hahas.

i accompanied kendrick to cut his hair.

and.. the supposedly half an hour wait became one a half hours!
wahhas. this is how he looked like after straightening and cutting his hair.

wells, its been a long time since ive blogged.

its year2008 and we're already in the 3rd month.

its really shocking to realise that i have like 7 more months to my As.

but i still feel unprepared for it.

its gonna be a busy busy year for me with next up,

i havent started on maths at all and its like the entire syllabus being tested on.

i feel so lost w/o knowing where to start

chem-hopefully organic chem is gonna help cause my physical chem is horrendous.
